I'm Liz. I've been doodling since I was a kid. In fact, I doodled my way though high school algebra...but that's another story for another post.
After I graduated from college, I had kids and started working as a RN. I had little time to draw. Years later (about 10 years ago) I picked up my pencil on a whim and started sketching. I was quickly reminded why I loved it as a child and as a teen. It is very calming for me. I can literally lose myself in the piece I'm working on.
So here I am 10 years later and I'm still drawing, painting and most recently dabbling in mixed media. My favs are animals, quirky kitsch, flowers, landscapes. I love to challenge myself and push myself out of my comfort zone.
